Nothing has brought its second flagship headphone to Malaysia. The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro sells for RM1,499, with pre-orders open since 6 October 2026.
If you remember last year's Headphone (1), this Pro version upgrades almost everything: drivers, ANC, battery and build materials. It comes in two colours, Black and White.

Three drivers, including xMEMS
This is the most interesting part. Nothing uses three drivers in each cup:
- 40mm dynamic driver: for bass, with a PET diaphragm and metal-ceramic dome. Nothing says it delivers 15% more punch and 26% more sensitivity
- 13脳8mm dynamic driver (PEN): for clearer mids
- xMEMS solid-state driver: for treble, with a silicone diaphragm that's 95 times stiffer
Frequency response is 20Hz to 40kHz, and it supports Hi-Res Audio both wired and wireless. Plug in a USB-C cable and you get lossless up to 24-bit/192kHz. With the 3.5mm AUX cable, it goes up to 24-bit/96kHz.

Up to 46dB of ANC
The adaptive ANC reaches up to 46dB, using 10 microphones and an 8mm silicone baffle. Nothing says it's 5dB stronger with 40% broader coverage than the Headphone (1).
For calls there's Clear Voice, with two dedicated mics on each side to keep your voice clear.

Tuned with Metropolis Studios
The sound is tuned with Metropolis Studios in London. The best part: there's a physical Flat EQ switch on the cup. Flip it and you get a flat, studio-monitor style sound without opening the app.
In the Nothing X app you get 5 Metropolis EQ profiles, Advanced EQ and Personal Sound. There's also Dynamic Spatial Audio "Studio B" with head tracking.

Up to 68 hours of battery
It has a 1060mAh battery. Here are Nothing's official numbers:
- AAC: 68 hours (ANC off), 30 hours (ANC on)
- LDAC: 53 hours (ANC off), 28 hours (ANC on)
- Talk time: 40 hours (ANC off), 33 hours (ANC on)
- Fast charge: 5 minutes gives 4 hours (ANC off) or 2 hours (ANC on)
- Full charge: about 2 hours
Aluminium, glass and titanium build
The cups are machined from a single block of aluminium, with 9H Panda Glass on the outside. The titanium arms are 45% lighter.
The ear cushions are 50% softer, and the headband is 10% wider with 12% thicker padding. It weighs 327g and carries an IP52 rating.

There are three physical controls: a roller (volume, play/pause, ANC), a paddle (skip tracks, calls) and a button (ChatGPT or camera shutter).
Connectivity
- Bluetooth 6.1, dual connection and Auracast
- Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair
- AAC, SBC, LDAC and LC3 (broadcast) codecs
- Low-latency mode for gaming
In the box
It comes with a hardshell case with TPU lining and strap loops, a 3.5mm cable and a USB-C cable.

Price in Malaysia
The official Malaysian price is RM1,499. For comparison, it's US$399 in the US (the Headphone (1) was US$299).

I love the idea of that Flat EQ switch. Simple, but super useful for creators who want to hear the real sound. Are you team black or team white? 馃槃
