Hey guys, shopping for a new running watch? Last week I went to the Malaysia launch of the COROS PACE 4 Pro, and honestly, that screen is crazy bright. It officially went on sale on 21 October 2026 at RM1,999.
I wear the regular PACE 4 every day, so I was pretty keen to see what the Pro brings to the table. Here's the rundown.

COROS PACE 4 Pro price in Malaysia
The official Malaysian price of the COROS PACE 4 Pro is RM1,999. COROS announced it right on the big screen at the launch, and I caught it on video. For reference, the global price is US$449.

It comes in two colours, black and white. A nylon strap comes as standard, with silicone straps available too.

A seriously bright 1.47 inch AMOLED screen
This is the headline feature. The PACE 4 Pro has a 1.47 inch AMOLED display (466 x 466), the biggest COROS has made so far. It hits up to 3,500 nits, so it stays readable even in harsh midday sun. You get sapphire glass on top and a titanium bezel, and it feels properly premium in the hand.

The refresh rate is adaptive, from 1Hz up to 60Hz. Something else I like: one screen can show up to 13 data fields during a run, so no more swiping around. The screen can even double as a flashlight, which is pretty cool.

Up to 60 hours of GPS battery
If you do long runs or trails, battery life matters a lot. Here are COROS's official numbers:
- GPS: up to 60 hours, or 45 hours with Always On Display
- Max GPS mode: 40 hours, or 30 hours with Always On Display
- Daily use: up to 21 days, or 7 days with Always On Display
It also weighs just 43g with the nylon strap (38g for the body alone) and is 11.8mm thick. Light enough that it should be comfy to sleep in.

Offline maps, 32GB storage and a full sensor suite
The PACE 4 Pro has global offline maps with street names, trail names, contour lines and points of interest, plus turn-by-turn navigation. COROS says map zooming is super smooth thanks to the 60Hz screen. Storage is 32GB, plenty for maps, music and audiobooks.

The sensor list is complete too:
- 4th generation optical heart rate sensor
- ECG and SpO2
- Dual-frequency GPS
- Barometer, thermometer and 9-axis IMU
- Speaker and mic for voice pins and the voice assistant
For recovery, you get overnight HRV, sleep score and heart rate recovery. For safety, there's live tracking, pace strategy, a weather widget, altitude alerts and storm alerts.
At the launch, COROS even had the watch sitting in a water tank. It's rated 5 ATM, so swimming is no problem.

PACE 4 vs PACE 4 Pro, what's the difference?
I wear the PACE 4 myself (the regular one, not the Pro), so here's a quick comparison from my side:
- Screen: the PACE 4 has a 1.2 inch AMOLED, the Pro a bigger, brighter 1.47 inch one
- GPS battery: up to 41 hours on the PACE 4, up to 60 hours on the Pro
- Daily use: up to 19 days on the PACE 4, up to 21 days on the Pro
- Materials: the Pro gets a titanium bezel and sapphire glass
- Price: RM1,099 for the PACE 4, RM1,999 for the Pro

If you just want a light watch for everyday running, the PACE 4 is already a solid pick. But if you want a bigger screen, smoother maps and longer battery life, the Pro is a worthwhile upgrade.

The good and the not so good
The good:
- 3,500 nit AMOLED screen that's crazy bright in the sun
- 60 hours of GPS battery
- Global offline maps with 32GB of storage
- Light, 43g with the nylon strap
The not so good:
- At RM1,999, it's RM900 more than the PACE 4
- No USB-C cable in the box, only a charging adapter
- If you only run casually, a lot of the features may go unused

Where to buy the COROS PACE 4 Pro
According to COROS Malaysia, you can get it from:
- Pangu Running stores and website
- Shopee: COROS Official Store
- Lazada: COROS Flagship Store
- Official COROS Malaysia retailers
When I checked on 26 October 2026, the Shopee COROS Official Store listed it at RM2,221 (pre-order), so look out for vouchers before you check out. You can check the latest price here.
So what do you think, is the PACE 4 Pro a good fit for your running? Or would you stick with the PACE 4 like me for now? 馃槃
